Creator Spotlight

Hello! My name is Maurice Sultana, from Malta. I am the composer, producer, and lyric writer behind Journeys To Monas — a project born from a deep passion for music, not from profession, but from purpose.

My journey with music began in 2016, sparked by curiosity and inspired by the early works of artists like Martijn Garritsen and Tim Berg. Discovering DAWs opened a world where I could express what I felt but could not yet put into words. Since then, I’ve spent years exploring the art of sound, learning by doing, growing not through formal study, but through curiosity and love towards producing.

Each track I create is shaped with intention. I prefer crafting sounds from the ground up, understanding their design rather than relying on what’s already made. This process allows me to develop my sound with every release — not aiming for perfection, but for honesty. While I don’t consider myself a professional musician and my knowledge of theory is limited, I follow the voice within. I compose and write from the heart. My goal is to evoke emotion, to offer something real, and to pair sound with words that carry meaning.

I began sharing my work publicly in April 2025, and I’m grateful to continue the journey with more releases on the way. Thank you for taking the time to listen. May the music speak to you in whatever way you need it most.

Out of silence and struggle, this music was born like a small flame — not to be hidden, but to shine through. I’m not a trained musician, just someone moved by love, to create what I feel and hear. Each song is a prayer, a piece of my journey. I’ve walked through silence, doubt, and darkness, but I trust God to carry this dream to the right hearts in His time.
