Away From Love

There was a time where I needed to understand everything before moving forward. Every decision had to make sense. Every step had to be certain. But life does not always work that way. Sometimes, the next step only reveals itself when you take it without knowing what comes after. And that is where faith begins. To walk by faith and not by sight. To move forward without needing proof. To trust that even when you cannot see the full picture, you are still being guided. Because there will be moments where fear and doubt begin to speak louder than truth. Moments where you question everything. Moments where it feels like you have been left behind. But even in those moments, something remains. A quiet voice that does not shout, but stays. A presence that does not leave, even when everything else does. And if you listen closely, you will realize it has always been there. There were times where I had nothing to hold onto. No certainty. No direction. No one to rely on. And in those moments, I held onto faith. Not because it was easy, but because it was all that remained. I was built in places where others would have been crushed. Not because I am stronger, but because I was forced to keep going when stopping was not an option. The world teaches you that if you cannot overcome something, you should become part of it. That you should adapt, blend in, and follow what already exists. But I do not believe that. If you cannot beat them, do not join them. Have faith. Because better is on its way, even when you cannot see it yet. And sometimes, the very thing that makes you different will make others uncomfortable. Light exposes what is hidden in the dark. Not everyone is ready for that. Many will reject it. Some will try to imitate it. Others will try to control it. But light was never meant to be owned. It was meant to reveal. Trying to be someone you are not will only show you how empty life becomes when you move away from truth. The more you chase what others have, the less grateful you become for what is already in your hands. But there is still hope. If you are willing to truly look at yourself, not through your own perspective, but through something greater, you will begin to understand the light you carry. See, the closer you come to God, the less impressive you will feel about yourself. Because real encounters with truth remove pride. They humble you. They strip away illusions. They show you what is real. And choosing a path that goes against that truth may give you a temporary sense of control, but it will eventually lead you back to the same place you were trying to escape. So ask yourself this. Do you do what you do to be seen? To be validated? Or will you continue to do what is true, even when no one is watching? Even when no one applauds and cheers you on? Even when shame and blame will be thrown against your name? Because the greatest tragedy in this world is not a lack of talent. It is the number of people who believe, but never act. Heaven does not respond to hesitation. It responds to willingness. Here I am. Not ready. Not perfect. Not fearless. But willing. Send me. Unapologetically.
